In this new year, instead of worrying about how we are going to get our needs met, let’s daily decree His word over our lives. 2 Corinthians 9:8 says: “God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”
His Word is His promise. It is his bond. If He said it, He will do it. This means that we can serve the Lord this year with gladness of heart, knowing that He meets all of our needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus. All grace is abounding toward us, so we can rejoice and confidently say, this is the day that the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24)!
