In 2 cases in the book of Acts, the scriptures share that God sent angels to deliver and protect His people. When the enemy came to arrest the prophet Elisha, angels surrounded his home to protect him. In Matthew 26:53, Jesus says this about the Father’s ability to protect Him: “Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels”? We live in a world where there is a lot of violence, but remember that God is your protector. Give God thanks every day for His divine protection over your life as well as your family. Acts 12:11 says: “And when Peter had come to himself, he said, “Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the Jewish people.” So remember today, whether you see them or not, God has sent angels to protect you, so thank the Father for these precious ministers of protection.
