Victor Nazario is the senior pastor of Calvary Christian Fellowship Inc., a growing, vibrant church located in the Bronx, NY. Both he and his wife, Gwendolyn, desire to see people connect with Christ as well as grow and mature in the knowledge of God and His Word. Pastor Nazario was the event manager for the 1996 Promise Keepers Conference “Break Down The Walls” at Shea Stadium in New York City; overseeing nearly 2,500 volunteers from churches around the U.S. He has also served as co-chairperson for the New York City March for Jesus, chairperson for the Manhattan March for Jesus, co-chairperson for the Harlem Prayer March, and as the Northeast regional director for Promise Keepers. Pastor Victor holds a Doctorate in Ministry and is the author of a book titled Leaders in the New Millennium. Due to his unique speaking and teaching style, he is called on to share Godly principles on leadership and other themes at various conferences, seminars, and churches throughout the year.

Hebrews 4:15 is so encouraging to me. It reveals that our Lord Jesus actually understands our pain and struggles. He knows what it means to be human, so He understands our condition. Here is how this verse reads in the Amplified version: “For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin.” Our High Priest understands our feelings of failure, despair, hopelessness and abandonment. Because of His love for us, He provided the way out of these conditions. Not only did He do this, He also empowered us by His Spirit to walk as victorious over-comers. The sacrifice of our our High Priest defeated death, hell and the grave. It delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us to His Kingdom. By His sacrifice, we were adopted into His family. We are now Kingdom priests. Today, because of His sacrifice, we can now also sympathize with the pain of others and help them out of their struggles. Our High Priest tells us: As the Father sent me, I now send you (John 20:21). Go in His strength today, and be that blessing that our High priest commissioned you to be!

Hebreos 4:15 me anima mucho. Revela que nuestro Señor Jesús en realidad entiende nuestro dolor y nuestras luchas. Él sabe lo que significa ser humano, por lo que entiende nuestra condición.
