God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind!

It looks like this will be a turbulent year around the world. Many people are very worried and fearful about what can break out this year. However, we need to be reminded of what 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind”. Remember that fear kept many in Moses’ day from entering into their inheritance. God told Joshua various times “fear not!” (Joshua 1). The Apostle John wrote this about fear, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love”(1 John 4:18). Our God is a present help in times of trouble: Psalms 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble”. The scriptures instruct us that we can run to God in times of trouble. He is a strong tower that the righteous can run to: Proverbs 18:10 “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe”. I pray that Holy Spirit gives you the powerful revelation that David received when he said, “even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me” (Psalms 23). God is with you! He promised to never leave you nor forsake you. He also dispatched angels to protect you. Today, the Lord reminds us to live in His peace and joy. He has given us the peace that passes understanding, and the joy of the Lord, which is our strength!

Psalms 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?”

Porque no nos ha dado Dios espíritu de temor, sino de poder, de amor y de dominio propio!

Parece que este será un año turbulento en todo el mundo. Mucha gente está muy preocupada y temerosa por lo que pueda suceder este año. Sin embargo, debemos recordar lo que dice 2 Timoteo 1:7: “Porque no nos ha dado Dios espíritu de temor, sino de poder, de amor y de dominio propio”. Recuerde que el temor impedío que muchos en los días de Moisés entraran en su herencia. Dios le dijo a Josué varias veces “¡no temas!” (Josué 1). El apóstol Juan escribió esto sobre el temor: “En el amor no hay temor; pero el amor perfecto echa fuera el temor, porque el temor implica tormento. Pero el que teme, no se ha perfeccionado en el amor” (1 Juan 4:18). Nuestro Dios es un auxilio presente en tiempos de dificultad: Salmos 46:1 “Dios es nuestro refugio y fortaleza, Un auxilio muy presente en los problemas”. Las Escrituras nos instruyen que podemos acudir a Dios en tiempos de dificultad. Él es una torre fuerte hacia la cual los justos pueden correr: Proverbios 18:10 “El nombre de Jehová es una torre fuerte; Los justos corren hacia ella y están a salvo”. Hoy, oro que el Espíritu Santo le brinde la poderosa revelación que David recibió cuando dijo: “aunque ande por el valle de la sombra de muerte, no temeré al mal, porque Tu estás conmigo” (Salmos 23). ¡Dios está contigo! Él prometió nunca dejarte ni abandonarte. También envió ángeles para protegerte. Hoy, el Señor nos recuerda que vivamos en su paz y gozo. ¡La paz que pasa todo entendimiento, y el gozo del Señor, que es nuestra fortaleza!

Salmos 27: 1 “Jehová es mi luz y mi salvación, ¿de quién temeré? Jehová es la fortaleza de mi vida, ¿de quién he de atemorizarme?”
