Victor Nazario is the senior pastor of Calvary Christian Fellowship Inc., a growing, vibrant church located in the Bronx, NY. Both he and his wife, Gwendolyn, desire to see people connect with Christ as well as grow and mature in the knowledge of God and His Word. Pastor Nazario was the event manager for the 1996 Promise Keepers Conference “Break Down The Walls” at Shea Stadium in New York City; overseeing nearly 2,500 volunteers from churches around the U.S. He has also served as co-chairperson for the New York City March for Jesus, chairperson for the Manhattan March for Jesus, co-chairperson for the Harlem Prayer March, and as the Northeast regional director for Promise Keepers. Pastor Victor holds a Doctorate in Ministry and is the author of a book titled Leaders in the New Millennium. Due to his unique speaking and teaching style, he is called on to share Godly principles on leadership and other themes at various conferences, seminars, and churches throughout the year.

In Proverbs 13:12 in the Living Bible, it says “Hope deferred makes the heart sick; but when dreams come true at last, there is life and joy”. This is intriguing because many people never see their dreams or hopes come true, and in many cases, it takes their joy away, and it could even make them sick. Now I’m not talking about getting that fancy shirt you wanted, or the newest iPhone. I’m talking about real, serious dreams and hope; hope for your future; hope for your family; hope for a home where you can raise your children, etc. Hope is vital to humans. It keeps the flame alive in one’s heart. It gives you strength to endure a difficult season. It gives you joy to know that even though you are currently working really hard for something, someday it will become a reality. That is why you must always guard your hope. Romans 15:13 says, “So I pray for you Gentiles that God who gives you hope will keep you happy and full of peace as you believe in Him. I pray that God will help you overflow with hope in Him through the Holy Spirit’s power within you”. Can you see how the Holy Spirit can help you overflow with hope? Have you given your hopes, dreams and desires to God? God will strengthen you as you go through all of life’s challenges, and one day, He will allow you to see your hopes, dreams or desires come to pass, and you will experience life and joy!

En Proverbios 13:12 en la Biblia viviente, dice: “La esperanza postergada aflige al corazón, pero un sueño cumplido es un árbol de vida”. Mantiene viva la llama en el corazón. Te da fuerzas para soportar una temporada difícil. Es una alegría saber que aunque uno esté trabajando muy duro por algo, algún día se convertirá en una realidad. Es por eso que uno siempre debe guardar su esperanza. Romanos 15:13 dice: “Así que ruego por ustedes, gentiles, que Dios que les da esperanza los mantenga felices y llenos de paz al creer en él. Ruego que Dios los ayude a desbordar con esperanza en él a través del poder del Espíritu Santo. dentro de ti”. ¿Puedes ver cómo el Espíritu Santo puede ayudarte a rebosar de esperanza? ¿Le has dado tus esperanzas, sueños y deseos a Dios? Dios lo fortalecerá a medida que atraviesa todos los desafíos de la vida, y un día, Él le permitirá ver que su esperanza, su sueño o su deseo se cumplen, y experimentará la vida y la alegría.
