The last command of our Lord Jesus was for us to disciple the nations. This is a task that can only be done as all of us take our place. Paul told Timothy: “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2). He taught his son in the faith (Timothy) how to minister, then he told him to do the same with other faithful people. The first thing the Lord Jesus did when He began His earthly ministry is to call to Himself 12 disciples that He personally mentored for future ministry. This is the order of God. Everyone needs to be equipped with the knowledge of the Word of God, and with the tools they need to engage in ministry. If you have been equipped, it’s time to begin to mentor others. If you are just coming in to the Kingdom of God, make sure you submit yourself to Godly mentoring. this was so important to the Lord Jesus that it was His last command before being taken up to Heaven.
Ephesians 4: 11-12 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ
Las escrituras revelan que Dios nos dio a cada uno de nosotros dones, talentos o habilidades que pueden ayudar y bendecir a la humanidad. Cada uno de nosotros tiene la gracia de que, cuando se usa adecuadamente, puede beneficiarnos a nosotros, a nuestra familia y a nuestra comunidad. Dios nos hace responsables de cómo usamos estos dones. Muchas personas son egoístas y solo usan sus dones para sus propios fines y beneficios, y no se preocupan por nadie más. Recuerda esto, Dios se complace cuando usas tus dones para ayudar y bendecir a otros. No hace la diferencia si otros son capaces de hacer más que tú. Dios solo te hará responsable por lo que haces, o no haces. La única vez que ves a Dios disgustado es cuando ve a aquellos que se niegan a ayudar o bendecir a otros con los dones que les dio. El Señor dice esto a aquellos que comparten sus dones con los demás: “Siervo bueno y fiel; fuiste fiel en algunas cosas, te haré gobernador de muchas cosas. Entra en la alegría de tu señor”.
Efesios 4:7– Pero a cada uno de nosotros la gracia fue dada según la medida del don de Cristo. Por lo tanto, dice: “Cuando ascendió a lo alto, llevó cautivo a la cautividad y dio dones a los hombres”.
