Victor Nazario is the senior pastor of Calvary Christian Fellowship Inc., a growing, vibrant church located in the Bronx, NY. Both he and his wife, Gwendolyn, desire to see people connect with Christ as well as grow and mature in the knowledge of God and His Word. Pastor Nazario was the event manager for the 1996 Promise Keepers Conference “Break Down The Walls” at Shea Stadium in New York City; overseeing nearly 2,500 volunteers from churches around the U.S. He has also served as co-chairperson for the New York City March for Jesus, chairperson for the Manhattan March for Jesus, co-chairperson for the Harlem Prayer March, and as the Northeast regional director for Promise Keepers. Pastor Victor holds a Doctorate in Ministry and is the author of a book titled Leaders in the New Millennium. Due to his unique speaking and teaching style, he is called on to share Godly principles on leadership and other themes at various conferences, seminars, and churches throughout the year.

In John 17, the Lord Jesus prayed to the Father that we would be one, just like He and the Father are one. This is God’s will. We are part of His Body. However, many in the United States are only interested in what others can do for them. They don’t care about others. They are not interested in helping anyone else. They are not interested in being part of His Body. This selfish mindset has even crept into the church. Many go to church to “get blessed.” They are not interested in serving in the church, or helping others, and just as long as the church “helps and blesses” them, they will attend the services. We need to turn away from this mindset, and catch God’s heart for His Body. If the Holy Spirit lives in you, this truth will resonate with you.

Ephesians 4: 4-6 – There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in ^[c]you all.

El apóstol Pablo dijo que debemos esforzarnos por mantener la unidad del Espíritu. Otra versión dice “hagan todo lo posible para mantenerse unidos en el Espíritu”. En otras palabras, esta es una prioridad para Dios. El Salmo 133 dice “He aquí lo bueno y agradable que es cuando los hermanos habitan juntos en unidad”. Hay una unidad perfecta en la Deidad, el Padre, el Hijo y el Espíritu Santo. No hay división, ni separación, ni desconfianza. Solo hay confianza, honor y amor puro. Fuimos creados a Su Imagen. Tenemos la capacidad de vivir juntos en unidad. Sin embargo, también tenemos la tendencia a caer en la ira, la ofensa, el orgullo y la arrogancia. Cuando permitimos que eso suceda, dejamos de esforzarnos o hacer todo lo posible para vivir juntos en la unidad. Esta no es la voluntad de Dios. Jesús oró en Juan 17 por nosotros, para que seamos uno, así como Él y el Padre son uno. Oremos para que podamos ver eso en nuestra vida. ¡Esto realmente agradaría el corazón de Dios!
