El rey David usó una poderosa imagen de un árbol saludable y fructífero para describir a aquellos que confían en el Señor. En el versículo 3, el rey dice que aquellos que confían en el Señor darán fruto en su tiempo. Dios busca fruto en nuestras vidas. Fruto de nuestra fe fruto de otros viniendo a Cristo a través de nuestro testimonio; fruto de una vida que agrada a Dios. Él también dice que nuestra “hoja no se marchitará”. Creo que Dios nos está dando nuevas fuerzas, nuevas alegrías, nuevas pasiones en esta temporada. El enemigo trataría de hacernos “marchitar” y marcharse. Dios dice que esta será nuestra temporada más fructífera, y Él nos dará nuevas fuerzas y renovará nuestra juventud. ¡Lo que el enemigo significaba para el mal, Dios está a punto de darle la vuelta para nuestro bien! ¡Recibe nueva fuerza y alegría hoy!
Salmos 1:3 Será como el árbol plantado junto a corrientes de aguas, que da su fruto en su tiempo, y su hoja no se marchitará; y todo lo que él haga prosperará.
The Lord Jesus taught us that when we pray, we are to begin by saying, “Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed by Thy Name.”
Our Father is our source. He is loving and kind. When we mess up, He rebukes us so that we can return to the correct path. He has given us an eternal inheritance. He in invested in our lives and future, and has made provisions for both today and in eternity. Part of His love to us is that He has given us earthly fathers, both natural and spiritual that can also guide us to a better future. Fathers that can allow God to love us through them. They are imperfect, but with God’s help, they can be a reflection of Father God’s heart. To all fathers out there, both natural and spiritual, I celebrate you in this very special day.
