Be wise and avoid this danger!

You might have heard it said: “Don’t believe everything you hear.” This is so vital, that if you heed this wisdom, you will avoid many pitfalls in life. Especially in today’s internet age, there is so much exaggeration and hyperbole out there, that it is difficult to know what is true and what is false. Every commercial touts their product as the next best thing since “sliced bread.” Don’t be a simpleton! Check everything out. I heard it once said: “Trust, but verify.” Be cautious. When someone tells you “trust me,” make sure you still do your due diligence. Take it from me, most all of my mistakes have come because I have simply trusted and have not done my own investigation. Be prudent and cautious in every major decision. You will avoid unnecessary pitfalls and danger. Trust God, verify everything else!

Sē sabios y evita este peligro!

Es posible que haya oído decir: “No crea todo lo que oye”. Esto es tan vital, que si presta atención a esta sabiduría, evitará muchas trampas en la vida. Especialmente en la era del internet de hoy, hay tanta exageración e hipérbole por ahí, que es difícil saber qué es verdad y qué es falso. Cada comercial promociona su producto como la mejor opción desde el “pan rebanado”. ¡No sea un simplón! Reviselo todo! Escuche decir una vez: “Confíe, pero verifique”. Ser cauteloso. Cuando alguien le dice “confíe en mí”, asegúrese de seguir haciendo su debida diligencia. Tómelo de mi parte, la mayoría de mis errores han venido porque simplemente he confiado y no he hecho mi propia investigación. Sea prudente y cauteloso en cada decisión importante. Evitará peligros  innecesarios. ¡Confíe en Dios, verifique todo lo demás!

Proverbios 14:15-16 “¡Sólo los simplones creen todo lo que se les dice! Los prudentes consideran cuidadosamente sus pasos. Los sabios son cautelosos  y evitan el peligro; Los tontos se lanzan hacia adelante con una confianza imprudente”
