Victor Nazario is the senior pastor of Calvary Christian Fellowship Inc., a growing, vibrant church located in the Bronx, NY. Both he and his wife, Gwendolyn, desire to see people connect with Christ as well as grow and mature in the knowledge of God and His Word. Pastor Nazario was the event manager for the 1996 Promise Keepers Conference “Break Down The Walls” at Shea Stadium in New York City; overseeing nearly 2,500 volunteers from churches around the U.S. He has also served as co-chairperson for the New York City March for Jesus, chairperson for the Manhattan March for Jesus, co-chairperson for the Harlem Prayer March, and as the Northeast regional director for Promise Keepers. Pastor Victor holds a Doctorate in Ministry and is the author of a book titled Leaders in the New Millennium. Due to his unique speaking and teaching style, he is called on to share Godly principles on leadership and other themes at various conferences, seminars, and churches throughout the year.

La presencia de la alegría no significa que no estés atravesando tiempos difíciles. Significa que sabes que Dios está contigo y que te ayudará a superar todos los obstáculos. Es saber que eres más que un vencedor a través de Él que te ama y dio su vida por ti. Si hoy careces de gozo, cambia tu enfoque de las circunstancias y situaciones al Señor, Su palabra, Sus promesas y su bondad. ¡El gozo del Señor es ciertamente tu fortaleza!

Many people today boast of great things, and actually believe that they are better than others, yet they are simply misguided, fragile human beings. The scriptures remind us that we are like fragile clay jars. We are like the grass, that is here today, and gone tomorrow. The Apostle Paul realized that even though God used him mightily, it was God working mightily through him. The power came from God, not from him. Pride is a master sin. It turned the archangel Lucifer into the devil. If we are not careful, pride can destroy our purpose and destiny. Our joy should be that “Christ in us” shines through in all of our actions. Our highest desire should be that we bring glory to God in all of our actions, and not strive to build monuments unto ourselves. At the end of our lives, the only thing that will last is what we did for Jesus. All of the prideful actions will go the way of the wind. They will be forgotten. But what we do for God will endure for generations.
