Today, it’s fashionable to complain and argue about everything. I hear people complaining everyday! Christians have even got caught up in this trend. I guess they haven’t read Phillipians 2: 14 – 15. Here is what it says: “Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world” That is pretty clear to me: Do ALL things without complaining and disputing. Those who understand this become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault! Why is it that we so easily get ensnared with fleshly, carnal reactions? We need to get back to His word to see how we should respond to life’s challenges and how we should live in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation. We need to be shining as lights in the world, instead of simply acting like the world. How will they see Jesus in the midst of the church if we do not allow our lives to reflect His love, grace and righteousness? It’s time to to become “scriptural believers,” not just believers in name only!

Hoy, está de moda quejarse y discutir sobre todo. ¡Escucho gente quejándose todos los días! Los cristianos incluso se han visto atrapados en esta tendencia. Supongo que no han leído Filipenses 2: 14-15. Esto es lo que dice: “Hagan todas las cosas sin quejarse ni disputar, para que puedan ser irreprensibles e inofensivos, hijos de Dios sin culpa en medio de una generación torcida y perversa, entre quienes brillan como luces en el mundo”. bastante claro para mí: haz TODAS las cosas sin quejarte ni discutir. ¡Los que entienden esto se vuelven inocentes e inofensivos, hijos de Dios sin falta! ¿Por qué es que nos atrapamos tan fácilmente con reacciones carnales y carnales? Necesitamos volver a Su palabra para ver cómo debemos responder a los desafíos de la vida y cómo debemos vivir en medio de una generación torcida y perversa. Necesitamos brillar como luces en el mundo, en lugar de simplemente actuar como el mundo. ¿Cómo verán a Jesús en medio de la iglesia si no permitimos que nuestras vidas reflejen su amor, gracia y justicia? ¡Es hora de convertirse en “creyentes de las Escrituras”, no solo creyentes solo de nombre!
