Victor Nazario is the senior pastor of Calvary Christian Fellowship Inc., a growing, vibrant church located in the Bronx, NY. Both he and his wife, Gwendolyn, desire to see people connect with Christ as well as grow and mature in the knowledge of God and His Word. Pastor Nazario was the event manager for the 1996 Promise Keepers Conference “Break Down The Walls” at Shea Stadium in New York City; overseeing nearly 2,500 volunteers from churches around the U.S. He has also served as co-chairperson for the New York City March for Jesus, chairperson for the Manhattan March for Jesus, co-chairperson for the Harlem Prayer March, and as the Northeast regional director for Promise Keepers. Pastor Victor holds a Doctorate in Ministry and is the author of a book titled Leaders in the New Millennium. Due to his unique speaking and teaching style, he is called on to share Godly principles on leadership and other themes at various conferences, seminars, and churches throughout the year.

We need God. Jesus taught that we cannot do anything of any eternal importance separated from Him. John 15:4 – 5 “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” With the help of the Lord Jesus, we can endure all of life’s challenges. We can accomplish all of the assignments that He has placed in our care. Phillipians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

We also need each other. We were created by God to excel as a body. We need each other more than most people realize. We are stronger with each other. What I lack, you possess. My strength is not just for me. It’s also for you. Your gifting is someone else’s answer to prayer. Always remember, we are stronger together!Ecclesiastes 4:9 – 12 “Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. 10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. 11 Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? 12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” We need God and we need each other. Never forget that.

Necesitamos a Dios en nuestras vidas. Jesús enseñó que no podemos hacer nada de importancia eterna separados de Él. Juan 15:4 – 5 “Permaneced en mí, y yo en vosotros. Como el pámpano no puede dar fruto por sí mismo, si no permanece en la vid, así tampoco vosotros, si no permanecéis en Mí. “Yo soy la vid, vosotros sois los pámpanos. El que permanece en mí, y yo en él, mucho fruto lleva; porque sin Mí nada podéis hacer”. Con la ayuda del Señor Jesús, podemos soportar todos los desafíos de la vida. Podemos cumplir todas las asignaciones que Él ha puesto a nuestro cuidado. Filipenses 4:13 “Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece”.

También nos necesitamos unos a otros. Fuimos creados por Dios para prosperar como cuerpo. Nos necesitamos unos a otros más de lo que la mayoría de la gente cree. Somos más fuertes unos con otros. Lo que a mí me falta, tú lo posees. Mi fuerza no es sólo para mí. También es para ti. Tu don es la respuesta de otra persona a la oración. Recuerde siempre, ¡juntos somos más fuertes! Eclesiastés 4:9 – 12 “Mejor son dos que uno, porque tendrán buena recompensa por su trabajo. 10 Porque si caen, uno levantará a su compañero. Pero ¡ay del que está solo cuando cae, porque no tiene quien le ayude a levantarse! 11 Además, si dos se acuestan juntos, se calentarán; ¿Pero cómo puede uno estar cálido solo?12 Aunque uno sea vencido por otro, dos pueden resistirle. Y un cordón triple no se rompe fácilmente”. Necesitamos a Dios y nos necesitamos unos a otros. Nunca olvides eso.
