Have you thought about the magnitude of this most magnanimous Divine action?

In John  1: 12, the Apostle shared this truth: “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” In Christ, we have the opportunity and privilege to become children of God. We were all created by God, but He gives us the privilege to become children of God if we receive His Son as our Savior, and believe in His sacrifice which cleanses us from all sin. Some people get offended at this most gracious offer. They don’t like being call sinners, and feel that there should be many ways to God. The big problem with this mode of thinking is that All-mighty God offered this to humanity because He loves us, and we’ve all sinned and come short of His Glory. We cannot save ourselves. The Lord Jesus is God’s loving offer to mankind for our redemption. The Bible says that every knee shall bow before Jesus in the future. So some will bow with joy as they go before their precious Messiah. Others will bow in shame, knowing that they rejected God’s loving offer, and they will then  also realize that they are bowing before the very Lord that they rejected during their lifetime. Hebrews 3: 7&8 states: Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion”. God was not pleased with that generation that rejected Him. Let’s be the generation that receives His most generous and loving offer, and come to saving faith in Christ!

Galations 4: 7 “Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ”

En Juan 1:12, el apóstol compartió esta verdad: “Mas a todos los que le recibieron, a los que creen en su nombre, les dio el derecho de ser hechos hijos de Dios”. En Cristo, tenemos la oportunidad y el privilegio de convertirnos en hijos de Dios. Todos fuimos creados por Dios, pero Él nos da el privilegio de convertirnos en hijos de Dios si recibimos a Su Hijo como nuestro Salvador, y creemos en Su sacrificio que nos limpia de todo pecado. Algunas personas se ofenden en esta oferta tan amable. No les gusta ser llamados pecadores, y sienten que debe haber muchas formas de llegar a Dios. El gran problema con esta forma de pensar es que Dios Todopoderoso ofreció esto a la humanidad porque nos ama, y ​​todos hemos pecado y estamos destituidos de Su gloria. No podemos salvarnos a nosotros mismos. El Señor Jesús es el sacrificio perfecto de Dios a la humanidad para nuestra redención. La Biblia dice que toda rodilla se doblará ante Jesús en el futuro. Entonces, algunos se inclinarán de gozo mientras van delante de su precioso Mesías. Otros se doblegarán avergonzados, sabiendo que rechazaron la oferta amorosa de Dios, y también se darán cuenta de que se están inclinando ante el Señor que rechazaron durante su vida. Hebreos 3:7 y 8 declara: Por lo tanto, como dice el Espíritu Santo: “Hoy, si escuchas su voz, no endurezcas tus corazones como en la rebelión. Dios no estaba complacido con esa generación que lo rechazó. ¡Seamos la generación que reciba su oferta más generosa y amorosa, y venga a la fe salvadora en Cristo!
