Victor Nazario is the senior pastor of Calvary Christian Fellowship Inc., a growing, vibrant church located in the Bronx, NY. Both he and his wife, Gwendolyn, desire to see people connect with Christ as well as grow and mature in the knowledge of God and His Word. Pastor Nazario was the event manager for the 1996 Promise Keepers Conference “Break Down The Walls” at Shea Stadium in New York City; overseeing nearly 2,500 volunteers from churches around the U.S. He has also served as co-chairperson for the New York City March for Jesus, chairperson for the Manhattan March for Jesus, co-chairperson for the Harlem Prayer March, and as the Northeast regional director for Promise Keepers. Pastor Victor holds a Doctorate in Ministry and is the author of a book titled Leaders in the New Millennium. Due to his unique speaking and teaching style, he is called on to share Godly principles on leadership and other themes at various conferences, seminars, and churches throughout the year.

“In every son, there is a father.” This is such a powerful truth. As fathers filled with the Holy Spirit, we have the honor and privilege of raising up strong oak trees in the house of the Lord. Ask God every day for wisdom, grace and patience, so that you can raise your children in the ways and admonition of the Lord. The principle of parenting also extends to every Christian, whether or not you are a natural father or mother, and even if you do not have natural children. We are all called to disciple those that God places in our care. We should all strive to be “fathers and mothers” in the house of the Lord. Our natural and spiritual children are all bombarded with evil philosophies and teachings every day, and they are tempted and attacked like we are. It is incumbent upon us to cover them with God’s love, and lovingly train them in the way that they should go. See yourself today as someone that our Heavenly Father wants to work with and through in this confused world. Your sons and daughters await you!

Ephesians 6:4 “And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord”

“En cada hijo hay un padre”. Ésta es una verdad tan poderosa. Como padres llenos del Espíritu Santo, tenemos el honor y el privilegio de levantar fuertes robles en la casa del Señor. Pide cada día a Dios sabiduría, gracia y paciencia, para que puedas criar a tus hijos en los caminos y amonestación del Señor. El principio de paternidad también se extiende a todo cristiano, sea o no padre o madre natural, e incluso si no tiene hijos naturales. Todos estamos llamados a discipular a aquellos que Dios pone a nuestro cuidado. Todos debemos esforzarnos por ser “padres y madres” en la casa del Señor. Nuestros hijos naturales y espirituales son todos bombardeados con filosofías y enseñanzas malvadas todos los días, y son tentados y atacados como lo somos nosotros. Nos corresponde a nosotros cubrirlos con el amor de Dios y educarlos con amor en el camino que deben seguir. Mírate hoy como alguien con quien nuestro Padre Celestial quiere trabajar en este mundo confuso. ¡Tus hijos e hijas te esperan!
