Victor Nazario is the senior pastor of Calvary Christian Fellowship Inc., a growing, vibrant church located in the Bronx, NY. Both he and his wife, Gwendolyn, desire to see people connect with Christ as well as grow and mature in the knowledge of God and His Word. Pastor Nazario was the event manager for the 1996 Promise Keepers Conference “Break Down The Walls” at Shea Stadium in New York City; overseeing nearly 2,500 volunteers from churches around the U.S. He has also served as co-chairperson for the New York City March for Jesus, chairperson for the Manhattan March for Jesus, co-chairperson for the Harlem Prayer March, and as the Northeast regional director for Promise Keepers. Pastor Victor holds a Doctorate in Ministry and is the author of a book titled Leaders in the New Millennium. Due to his unique speaking and teaching style, he is called on to share Godly principles on leadership and other themes at various conferences, seminars, and churches throughout the year.

The Apostle Paul counsels us to not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. We therefore have a choice. We can be wise, or unwise. God has granted us this privilege and responsibility. Merriam Webster defines the wise as: marked by deep understanding, keen discernment, and a capacity for sound judgment. The Proverbist wrote that a wise man fears and departs from evil (Proverbs 14:16). Do your actions manifest a person who observes keen discernment, and a capacity for good judgment? Do you fear and depart from evil? Many today have no fear jumping into the quagmire of evil actions. They don’t even consider what God would think about their actions. They allow offense, gossip, pride, hate, and other sins to cloud their walk with God. The wise refuse to allow any action without first meditating on the repercussions or benefits of their actions. Are you operating with sound judgement, or do your actions manifest an absence of the same? Would God be pleased with your actions? Do not be unwise!

Ephesians 5:17 “Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is”

El apóstol Pablo nos aconseja no ser imprudentes, sino entender cuál es la voluntad del Señor. Por lo tanto, tenemos una opción. Podemos ser sabios o imprudentes. Dios nos ha concedido este privilegio y responsabilidad. Merriam Webster define a los sabios como: marcados por una comprensión profunda, un agudo discernimiento y una capacidad de buen juicio. El proverbista escribió que el hombre sabio teme el mal y se aparta (Proverbios 14:16). ¿Tus acciones manifiestan una persona que observa un agudo discernimiento y capacidad de buen juicio? ¿Temes y te apartas del mal? Muchos hoy en día no tienen temor de lanzarse al atolladero de las malas acciones. Ni siquiera consideran lo que Dios pensaría de sus acciones. Permiten que la ofensa, el chisme, el orgullo, el odio y otros pecados nublen su caminar con Dios. Los sabios se niegan a permitir cualquier acción sin antes meditar sobre las repercusiones o beneficios de sus acciones. ¿Está operando con buen juicio o sus acciones manifiestan una ausencia del mismo? ¿Se agraderia Dios con tus acciones? ¡No seas insensato!
