Victor Nazario is the senior pastor of Calvary Christian Fellowship Inc., a growing, vibrant church located in the Bronx, NY. Both he and his wife, Gwendolyn, desire to see people connect with Christ as well as grow and mature in the knowledge of God and His Word. Pastor Nazario was the event manager for the 1996 Promise Keepers Conference “Break Down The Walls” at Shea Stadium in New York City; overseeing nearly 2,500 volunteers from churches around the U.S. He has also served as co-chairperson for the New York City March for Jesus, chairperson for the Manhattan March for Jesus, co-chairperson for the Harlem Prayer March, and as the Northeast regional director for Promise Keepers. Pastor Victor holds a Doctorate in Ministry and is the author of a book titled Leaders in the New Millennium. Due to his unique speaking and teaching style, he is called on to share Godly principles on leadership and other themes at various conferences, seminars, and churches throughout the year.

King David avoided scorners. These were those who thought they were better than anyone else. They were disrespectful and belittling to others. Today, many young folk have been deceived into thinking that it’s cool to be disrespectful to parents, to teachers, to police, to the elderly. Others have been deceived into thinking that it is cool to mock or disrespect God. They don’t realize that this is a snare of the enemy. One reaps what they sow. David knew that so he refused to sit at the table with people like this. Reject the mindset of the arrogant and scornful, and take your place with those that honor God and others in authority. God honors those who honor Him!

El rey David evitó a los burladores. Estos eran los que pensaban que eran mejores que los demás. Fueron irrespetuosos y menospreciadores con los demás. Hoy en día, muchos jóvenes han sido engañados haciéndoles pensar que está bien ser irrespetuosos con los padres, los maestros, la policía y los ancianos. Otros han sido engañados haciéndoles pensar que está bien burlarse o faltarle el respeto a Dios. No se dan cuenta de que esto es una trampa del enemigo. Uno cosecha lo que siembra. David lo sabía y se negó a sentarse a la mesa con gente así. Rechaza la mentalidad de los arrogantes y desdeñosos, y toma tu lugar con aquellos que honran a Dios y a los demás con autoridad. ¡Dios honra a quienes lo honran!
