We have a great promise in Hebrews 13: 5, 6. This promise gives us great confidence, great joy, great peace, great expectation. It gives us great hope for the future! It secures our eternity. It removes any fears from our hearts. Here is what it says: “Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” (Hebrews 13: 5, 6 NLT) So remember today that He never fails. He never abandons us. He is our helper. He is with us, and if God be with us, who can be successful against us?
The way of the Lord is strength for the upright!
So many people have said that they are very tired of always battling. There is always an issue to deal with; a problem with one of their children; issues at work; a disagreement with the spouse, etc. Their strength has been depleted due to the constant daily struggles and problems. God sees your struggles, and has made strength available for you in the Holy Ghost. Look at what these verses say to you today:
Nehemiah 8:10 – “The joy of the Lord is your strength.”
Isaiah 40:29 – “He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.”
Ephesians 3:16 – “He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.”
Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
So you can see, you already have more strength than you need. It’s already available. All you have to do is ask, and you shall receive. God is waiting to shower you with new strength. Receive His strength today!
