Hebrews 11:2 For by it (faith) the elders obtained a good report. What is the report that Heaven has of you? The men and women of old trusted God and His word. They believed in God’s promises even during times of great distress and hardship. By faith (confidence, trust and reliance on God), they received divine provision, strategies, miracles, deliverance and answers. Because of their confidence in God and their faithfulness to Him, they have a good report and testimony in Heaven. Right now, your report is being created. What will Heaven’s report say about you? Are you living your life in such a way that all of Heaven speaks well of you? Are you daily working on your faith in God (confidence, trust, and reliance)? Will God say to you: “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord”? (Matthew 25:21) Something to think about in this new year!
