Is your foundation solid?

When you build a home, you must have a solid and firm foundation. If the foundation is faulty, the building will show cracks in the facade sooner or later, or it will slowly sink as the foundations fails. One must pay attention to how the foundation is built. It’s the same way with our lives. Either we build on the solid foundation of the word of God, or we build on personal opinions and feelings. This nation’s foundation is slowly eroding as more laws are created to uphold people’s selfish feelings and personal desires. As this nation gets away from the bedrock of God’s word, one can expect irrational laws and decisions that will leave many questioning who are those whom are making these very decisions. One thing is clear: the works of the flesh will take people away from God’s Kingdom and spawn off many self-created problems and crises that can only be healed as the nation prays and repents of its sin. It’s time to pray and intercede for this precious nation, especially for the sake of our children and children’s children.

Galations 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: [d]adultery, [e]fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, [f]murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

What has God placed in your hands?

A rock in my hands is a simple reminder of the awesome variety of nature. In David’s hands, it’s the end of tyranny. A rod in my hands can help me to walk if I am tired; a rod in Moses’ hands parted the Red Sea. A rubber ball in my hands might give me some fun in the park; a rubber ball in Michael Jordan’s hands gave him many basketball championships. Fish and loaves in my hands is a fish sandwich; fish and loaves in the Lord Jesus’ hands fed the multitudes. Grain in my hands might be a simple breakfast; grain in Joseph’s hands kept the nations fed during seven years of famine. Nails in my hands can help me to build a small project; nails in the Lord Jesus’ hands provided salvation for mankind.
You see, it all depends on whose hands it’s in. What will you do with what God placed in your hands? Selah.
Matthew 14:19(NKJV)  “Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes.”
