Shut down all of his fiery darts!

The Apostle Paul makes a remarkable statement in Ephesians 6:16. He states “above all.” This means most importantly! This means that the next thing he says is of the utmost importance. He goes on to say that we need to take the shield of faith as part of our daily weapons of warfare in order to quench all of the fiery darts of the wicked one. This is why many people feel overwhelmed most of the time. The enemy is always throwing his fiery darts at us, and they tend to weaken us. they are meant to destroy us, but God has given us overcoming faith, which is able to give us daily victory! 1 John5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Remember, Paul tells us that our faith has great value, and it is of the utmost importance! Protect your faith. Feed it daily with the word of God so that your shield of faith will be strong and impenetrable, and so that it would be able to quench ALL of the fiery darts that the enemy would throw at you!

Ephesians 6:16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one

How precious are the feet of those that bring good news!

The Apostle Paul instructed us to put on the full armor of God. Part of that armor is to put on protection on our feet which he describes as the preparation of the Gospel of peace. So we are to make sure that we are continually to be both studying God’s word so that we can effectively present and defend the Gospel, and we need to be walking in the peace that the Gospel provides. It is pivotal to realize that Paul said that our feet need to be covered with this part of the armor of God because feet are symbolic of our walk and life journey. Our lives should be revealing the Gospel and His peace every day of our lives. We are the light of the world, and light reveals everything in its environment. Put on the preparation of the Gospel of peace today and be that light that God called you to be in your sphere of influence!
