Did you know that this Grace has been provided for you?

We Christians have a saying which is true every single day: “God is good, all the time!” However, we can lose the power and revelation of a saying during the process of time if we are not careful. Yes, God is good, but have you stopped to meditate why we declare that as a congregation? Consider what the Apostle Paul wrote to the Ephesians: “For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God” Ephesians 2:8 (Amp). Not only did He love us with a kind of love that we cannot understand, He was the one that drew us to Christ by His Spirit. Not only that, He became flesh and died on a cross for us. Not only that, He did all of that while we were yet enemies and separated from Him. He delivered us from judgement and gave us eternal life. And, we did nothing to deserve this love. It came from His undeserved gracious love. It is a gift of the highest order. So next time you declare “God is good, all the time,” stop a moment to really thank Him for this great grace, favor and love that He bestowed on us through Christ Jesus. After all, isn’t He worthy of our praise, gratitude and appreciation? Let’s say it together right now: GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME!

Nosotros los cristianos tenemos un dicho que es verdad todos los días: “¡Dios es bueno todo el tiempo!” Sin embargo, podemos perder el poder y la revelación de dichos como ese durante el proceso del tiempo si no tenemos cuidado. Sí, Dios es bueno, pero ¿te has detenido a meditar por qué declaramos eso como congregación? Considera lo que el apóstol Pablo escribió a los Efesios: “Porque es por gracia (la extraordinaria compasión y favor de Dios que te atrae a Cristo) que has sido salvo realmente liberado del juicio y dado vida eterna a través de la fe. Y esta salvación no es de ustedes mismos y no a través de su propio esfuerzo, sino que es el don no merecido de Dios ” Efesios 2:8 (AMP). No solo nos amó con una clase de amor que no podemos entender, sino que fue El que nos atrajo a Cristo por medio de su Espíritu. No solo eso, Él se hizo carne y murió en una cruz por nosotros. No solo eso, Él hizo todo eso mientras aún éramos enemigos, y estábamos separádos de Él. Nos libró del juicio y nos dio vida eterna. No fue que hicimos algo para merecer este amor. Vino de su amor gracioso desatendido. Es un regalo de primer orden. así que la próxima vez que declares “Dios es bueno todo el tiempo”, deténte un momento para agradecerle realmente por esta gran gracia, favor y amor que nos otorgó en Cristo. Él es digno de nuestra alabanza, gratitud y aprecio! Digámoslo juntos ahora mismo: ¡DIOS ES BUENO, TODO EL TIEMPO!
