David knew the secret to not despair in the midst of crises and uncertainty!

Today’s news can very easily bring about strong worry and fears. Great concerns about our economy and the threats of potential war. Also, there are many who are in a strong spiritual battle that has affected them personally or affected their family. There are two verses in the Psalms that reveal just how difficult circumstances can get without the grace and power of God in our lives. Psalms 27:13 and 14 “I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord.” The disciples of old knew two powerful truths that kept them through crises and difficult moments. They are: a) They were more than conquerors through Christ and, b) nothing could separate them from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. You may be going through the battle of your life right now. You may be experiencing trials, tribulations, stress, lack, illness, betrayal, and other similar challenges, but the Lord reminds you today that YOU are more than a conqueror! The greater one resides within you, and even though you are going through a challenging fight of your faith, you WILL come out on top because if God is for you, who can be against you! Nothing shall separate you from His love. His love is fierce. His love is faithful. His love overcomes all darkness and destruction. His love overcame death, hell and the grave! In the midst of your fight, shout to the Lord with a voice of triumph! This is the day that the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it! Your victory is assured in Christ!

Romans 8: 37-39 “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”
