In the midst of these financially trying times, it is vital that we remember where our provision comes from. We are citizens of the Kingdom of God. Ultimately, our provision comes from the Lord God our provider (Gen. 22:13,14). He is also our Heavenly Father, and He is the perfect provider. He desires that all of our needs be met in this lifetime. As the perfect Father, He loves to provide for His children. Jesus shared in Matthew 6: 31 – 33: “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you”. When we seek His Kingdom first, He makes sure that all of our needs are met. They are met according to His riches in Glory! In other words, even if you don’t know where the provision is coming from, you can be confident in God’s promise and faithfulness that He will make a way, even if it seems that there in no way. Even when banks and institutions fail, God never fails!

Proverbs 10:3 “The Lord will not allow the righteous soul to famish, But He casts away the desire of the wicked”
