David went through many dark days. There were times that he thought he would die. It was during those dark times that he would cry out to the Lord, and the Lord would deliver him out of all of his troubles.
Psalm 34:17 “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.”
He learned to not fear evil when it reared its ugly head, because he knew that God was with him in the good and bad times. Jesus promised us that He would always be with us. Never allow the enemy of your soul to deceive you into thinking that God has abandoned you. He never leaves us nor forsakes us, even when we go through the valley of the shadow of death!
Psalms 23:4 “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me.”
So be reminded today that we can walk confidently through those difficult moments in life, and arrive safely onto the other side, because He is with you, and He will deliver you out of all your troubles.
Psalm 34:19 “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.”
