Is your confidence misplaced?

The word trust means: an assured reliance on someone or something; One in which confidence is placed. In Proverbs 11:28, The proverbist reveals that the one who trusts in his riches will fall. When we place trust or confidence in riches, we are placing confidence on something that might be here today, but  gone tomorrow. Proverbs 23:5 -“In the blink of an eye wealth disappears, for it will sprout wings and fly away like an eagle”.

The righteous however, place their trust in the Lord. He is faithful, and His promises are worthy of trust. Refocus your trust in the Lord today. He will never fail you, and He will cause you to flourish!

Proverbs 11:28 “He who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like foliage”

  1. Amen. Placing our trust in what is eternal, The Lord, is far better than trusting in the temporal. As you said “here today gone tomorrow”. Thank You, Apostle Victor
