Shine as lights instead of complaining!

Today, it’s fashionable to complain and argue about everything. I hear people complaining everyday! Christians have even got caught up in this trend. I guess they haven’t read Phillipians 2: 14 – 15. Here is what it says: “Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world” That is pretty clear to me: Do ALL things without complaining and disputing. Those who understand this become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault! Why is it that we so easily get ensnared with fleshly, carnal reactions? We need to get back to His word to see how we should respond to life’s challenges and how we should live in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation. We need to be shining as lights in the world, instead of simply acting like the world. How will they see Jesus in the midst of the church if we do not allow our lives to reflect His love, grace and righteousness? It’s time to to become “scriptural believers,” not just believers in name only!
