This has been a year of strong confrontation for the believer. Many have experienced unusual and perplexing circumstances. Don’t be surprised. God revealed to us that this would happen. You might be in one of these confrontations right now. If so, be reminded of what His word tells us:
Psalm 34:19 (AMP) “Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the Lord rescues him from them all”. Did you read that? The Lord RESCUES and DELIVERS him from them ALL. Be encouraged that God knows about any and all circumstances, problems, issues, persecutions, challenges, confrontations, and attacks of the enemy that you might be experiencing at this time. He reminds you of His promise to you. He will deliver you from them all! Hallelujah!
Seek the Provider, not the things!
God is not only our deliverer. He is also our provider. King David wrote: “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor His seed begging for bread” (Psalm 37:25). The Apostle Paul understood this truth, so he wrote this to the Phillipian church: “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Today, God wants you to be encouraged. He knows that many have unmet needs and are experiencing lack of some kind. He reminds us that He is the owner of all the gold and silver and the cattle on a thousand hills. His word counsels us to “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things (food, home, clothing, finances shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). Seek the Provider, not the things. If you get this right, all these “things” shall be added to you!
