King David wrote: “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor His seed begging for bread” (Psalm 37:25). The Apostle Paul understood this truth, so he wrote this to the Phillipian church: “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Today, God wants you to be encouraged. He knows that many have unmet needs and are experiencing lack of some kind. He reminds us that He is the owner of all the gold and silver and the cattle on a thousand hills. His word counsels us to “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things (food, home, clothing, finances shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). Seek the Provider, not the things. If you get this right, all these “things” shall be added to you!
