The highest blessing!

The Apostle Paul understood by revelation that in Christ, we are already blessed with all spiritual blessings. The Greek word for blessed (eulogeo) in this verse  speaks of causing someone to prosper, to make one happy, to speak well of. The Apostle let us know that in Christ, we are not attempting to get blessed, or begging God to bless us. He is our loving Heavenly Father, and it pleased Him to bless us in Christ. But the highest blessing, or the true riches that He gave us is found in Colossians 1:27:  ”To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory”. The true, lasting riches is Christ in you. If you have Christ in you, you have everything, and you are truly blessed beyond measure. He is the one that meets all your needs, according to His riches in Glory. Through Him, we are born again into the family of God. We are adopted into the Royal family, and as you know, the ones who get the inheritance are the sons and daughters!

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ

The blessed ones walk and live in His word!

Psalms 1 (Amplified version) Blessed (happy, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes]

In the Amplified version of the Bible, It shares when a man refuses to walk in bad and ungodly counsel, and instead follows God’s word, it causes one to enter into a cycle of joy, peace, confidence, prosperity (is able to confidently do what God called him to do). There are many voices in the world today, and they are all screaming for our attention. Most of these voices will veer you away from your purpose and destiny. Don’t allow it. Be that person that this verse is speaking about. Walk and live in the word, and be that Blessed person!
