Proverbs 12:3 – Wickedness never brings stability, but the godly have deep roots.
The Lord Jesus once said: “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock” (Matthew 7:24 TLB). When one builds on rock, that is true stability! However, the wicked rebel against God and His word, and because of that, they build on false ideologies, desires and mindsets. Their temporary prosperity will not endure. The Godly root their lifestyles and actions on the word of God. Anything that is deeply rooted in good soil will last, and will endure any difficult weather or season. King David once said: He shall be like a tree planted (rooted) by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper (Psalms 1:3). Now that is true stability!
