Are you still fellowshipping even though we haven’t been able to meet at the church building?

The writer to the Hebrews reminds us that it is an important responsibility to gather together on an ongoing basis. There are many ways to gather. Even though we cannot meet at the church building at the moment, we can still gather via Zoom, Facebook live, Youtube live, as well as other platforms. We are the body of Christ, not the building. God’s word instructs us to continually meet together to pray, to worship and to encourage each other, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. Don’t allow the enemy of our souls to deceive you into thinking that it is ok to not fellowship for now since you can’t get to the church building. It will be there when we get back, but for now, be part of the “stream team” and meet via social media, phone, and any other way you can. That is part of our assignment and many are waiting for your encouragement at the fellowship!

Hebrews 10:25 “And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near”

Did you encourage your neighbor today?

Everyone needs encouragement during this crisis! There is someone next to you that needs to be encouraged. Your co-worker might be going through a difficult time at home and needs your encouragement. The bodega worker where you buy your milk might need a kind and gentle word today. Your spouse might need a loving word from you today. Your child might need some extra understanding and grace today. You have within you God’s precious Spirit of grace. Let your words release love, grace, mercy and encouragement today. It might be the only encouraging word they they hear today, and they will greatly appreciate it
