What is chasing you?

There is one thing that dogs love, and that is to chase after smaller animals, and of course, mail carriers, lol. I have been chased by dogs in the past, and believe me, it’s no fun. I quickly learned to not run and face the chaser. That is when he stopped. According to Proverbs 13:21 (TPT), “Calamity chases the sin-chaser, but prosperity pursues the God lover”. Did you just read that? Calamity chases the sin-chaser! What is chasing you? Is calamity chasing you, or is prosperity chasing you? That which you tolerate or permit in your life, will chase you and remain in your life. Be careful what you  allow in your life. It might just chase you and end up biting you!

God will not overwhelm you!

Trouble comes to everyone from time to time. However, Isaiah 43:2 declares “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you”. God is with you and will not allow calamity to overwhelm you. Proverbs 19:23 declares “Fear of the Lord leads to life, bringing security and protection from harm”. When you give your life and future to the Lord, He will send His angels to guard and protect you. Even in the midst of trouble, you can be at peace, knowing that He is with you.

Proverbs 12:21 (TPT) – Calamity is not allowed to overwhelm the righteous, but there’s nothing but trouble waiting for the wicked.
