Your future is waiting for this!

We all have a purpose given to us by God. The Apostle James teaches that faith has works (James 2: 14-26). When you truly embrace your purpose, it will clarify what you are called to do, and your actions will fall in line with your purpose on earth. It is vital to pray, but after prayer, we must work toward what we have been praying for. Our actions are as seeds, that when properly planted, reap a harvest. King Solomon taught that we must continually cast our “bread upon the waters”. We are to continually sow our seed during the daytime and in the evening. We are not to rest when it’s time to sow our seed (work toward our purpose), for we do not know which of our activities will prosper or find success (Ecclesiastes 11: 1,6). We are not to give up just because we might not have seen the success that we were hoping for.  One day we will see the one or more of these seeds succeed (actions or activities), if we do not give up. The only real failure is when we give up or stop sowing our seeds (gifts, abilities, actions that fall in line with our purpose). Determine today to continue to sow your seed both day and night, because a harvest is coming that will bless you and all those around you, and you will be pleasing God in the process because He is looking for fruit in our lives!

Ecclesiastes 11: 1,6Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days. (6) In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening do not let your hand rest; because you do not know which activity will find success, this way or that way, or if the both will be good.”

How to live a care-free life!

We all have cares, problems, stress, issues and challenges in life. There is no such thing as a stress-free life. Most people carry their cares upon their shoulders and will not ask for help. 1 Peter 5:7 lets us know that we can cast all of our care upon our Heavenly Father, becase He cares for us. This makes such sense! Imagine that you have a 50 lb. piece of furniture that needs to be moved to another room. On your own, that would be either very difficult, or even impossible. However, if you were to ask someone for help, they can help you carry that load quite easily. One person can lift one side of the furniture, and you can lift the other side and together both of you can move the load. It’s the same way with your cares. God tells you today that He is with you and will carry your cares if you give it to Him. When you “cast something,” it leaves you and lands somewhere else. If you cast your care on the Lord, you will feel great relief because you will no longe feel the weight of the burden on your shoulders. It’s time to cast your care upon the Lord, because He cares for you!

1 Peter 5:7 “casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”
