God’s wisdom is so precious and multi-faceted. If we would truly seek His wisdom, it will open up the floodgates of revelation to us. Proverbs 8:12 (AMP) says: “I, [godly] wisdom, reside with prudence [good judgment, moral courage and astute common sense], And I find knowledge and discretion”. In the King James Version, the verse reads as follows: “I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions”. Did you catch that? Godly wisdom brings with it good judgement, moral courage, and astute common sense. We absolutely need all of these in this day. Wisdom also “finds” knowledge and discretion. In other words, when Godly wisdom is present in us, it allows us to continue to find the knowledge that we need. It’s like a frequency tuner for knowledge. The King James Version says it this way: Godly wisdom “finds out knowledge of witty inventions”. There is still a lot that we need to learn. There are needs on this earth that still haven’t been addressed, and Godly wisdom will help us to find the knowledge and strategies we require in order to address these needs. Will you be the one in whom Godly wisdom will flow?
This is what you really need! A must read!
The wisdom of God is multifaceted and priceless. If you can obtain God’s wisdom, you would have great success in your life and ministry. When you get a chance, read Proverbs 8 and you’ll see what I mean. Proverbs 8:14 (NLT) says: “Common sense and success belong to me (wisdom). Insight and strength are mine.” As a King, David knew the importance of wisdom in his daily decisions. He depended on God to give him the daily wisdom he needed in order to lead righteously. He also knew that wisdom was connected to his relationship with God. He said this in Psalms 111:10: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever”. In today’s world, we need wisdom more than ever before. There are many philosophies and opinions out there. If you do not have the wisdom of God flowing in you, you will get lost in the quagmire of thoughts and demands. The Lord Jesus taught that if we seek, we shall find (Matthew 7:7). Refuse to be like those who are convinced that they know it all and don’t need God’s wisdom. Humble yourself before God today and ask Him for wisdom. That my friend, is the foundation for success, health, safety, peace and salvation.
