He will protect you from hidden danger!

Proverbs 3:26 (AMPC) “For the Lord shall be your confidence, firm and strong, and shall keep your foot from being caught [in a trap or some hidden danger].” When I was younger, I lacked confidence in myself and in my abilities. However, when I began to understand what Jesus did on the cross for me, I realized that He loved me and that gave me value and worth. Because of what He did for me on the cross, I now have great confidence in “Christ in me.” I know that I am a work in progress, but God has given me a high purpose in this life. He has also adopted me into His family, and since He is the King of kings and Lord of Lords, I am now part of a royal family! He tells me to call Him Father, so I am now His son. He also promises to keep and protect me from traps and hidden dangers, so I don’t have to worry about the future, because He has me in his care. Wow, the Lord is indeed my confidence. Guess what, He also did the same for you, so you can also say: “The Lord is my confidence.”

Proverbs 3:26 (AMPC) “For the Lord shall be your confidence, firm and strong, and shall keep your foot from being caught [in a trap or some hidden danger].”

It was written for your encouragement!

The Bible teaches us about God, the history of His people and the plan of redemption among other things. The Bible was  also written for our instruction. Romans 15:4 (Amp) says: “For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.” In other words, when we study God’s word, it will give us an overflowing hope and confidence in His promises. It encourages us during trials and tribulations. It encourages us when life’s circumstances attempt to discourage us. There is an answer for all of life’s challenges. In the midst of all the Memorial Day celebrations today, ask the Lord to give you insight and discernment as to what His word is saying, and watch how the Lord will open up your eyes to see what He is doing and your heart to understand what He is saying. In all of your celebrating, celebrate His goodness in the land of the living. This is the day that the Lord made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!. Happy Memorial Day!
