What are your past successes? This is important because you can use your past successes as confirmation and affirmation that you can achieve great things in the future. Also, you can see God’s hand in your past. If He helped you in the past, He will help you in the future. Past victories are markers that let you know that you can achieve future victories. Psalm 77:11
I will remember the works of the Lord; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old.
The birth of the Lord Jesus Christ was the confirmation of God’s promise to redeem mankind. Now, in Christ, all of God’s promises are yes and amen through Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:20 “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us”.
We can now access His grace because of what the Lord Jesus did for us. Hebrews 4:16 says “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” So remember during this Christmas season that God’s promises are yours, and you can rejoice in Him, no matter what you may experience in this lifetime. He has already redeemed you, and He is always with you, and not just during Christmas. Rejoice, Jesus was born, and that confirmed His promise to you!
