You were created to grow and expand!

God told Abraham to “look” at the land from where he stood: “After Lot had departed, the Lord said to Abram, “Look from the place where you stand to the north, south, east, and west.” (Genesis 13:14). He was imparting in him a picture that would allow him to “see” more than he was currently seeing. God gave Abraham a future picture that would become the “proof” that what he was believing for was possible. Faith is the evidence of things that we do not see with our natural eyes, but we can see it with our spiritual eyes. By faith, we can see much farther than our current circumstances. It helps us to break out of our current limits and struggles. God will give you a vision or picture of your future so that you can begin the journey of enlarging the place where you are planted. You were not created to remain the same. It’s time to grow and expand!

Isaiah 54:2 “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.

Could it be that your suffering is over?

In the book of Mark, chapter five, there is an account where a sick woman makes her way to Jesus and touches the hem of His garment. Her faith posture was that if she could just touch the hem of His garment, she would be healed. She had heard that Jesus was the Messiah, and that He was healing and delivering people wherever He went. When she arrived to where Jesus was, she saw that there was a literal multitude of people surrounding Him. This made her plan very difficult. However, her faith and resolve impeled her to the task and she pushed her way through to Jesus. When she got to Him, she grabbed a hold of His garment and immediately her sickness was healed. Jesus told her “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.” What speaks to me is that Jesus said her faith had made her whole and that her suffering was over. Be reminded today that your faith in God and His word can move mountains. It can heal you. It can bring in the needed provision. It can get you that job that you need. It can give you favor when needed. It can take the suffering away. It can release the power of God in your situation. Your faith in God is more powerful than you realize.

Mark 5:34 (NLT) “And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”
