Great outlook for 2019

I expect great things for the year 2019. The main reason that I expect great things is because I trust God’s word. Look at these verses and join me in believing for great things this coming year! Remember, faith comes by hearing God’s word!

1. John 10:10- He came to give life in abundance…He is my source…

2. Phil 4:19- He supplies all our need according to his riches in Glory…

3. Prov. 3:6- In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths…

4. Psalm 1:3- In all that he does, he prospers…

5. Psalm 23:6- Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…

6. Gal 6:7- What you sow is what you will reap…

7. 2 Cor 9:6- He who sows much will reap much…

8. Eccl 11: 6- In the morning and evening, sow your seeds, for you don’t know which one will prosper…

9. 2 Cor 2:14- Thanks be unto God who always leads us in triumph.

Joshua 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[c] shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success”.

What are you hearing?

In Romans 10:17, we see the principle of how faith comes about in one’s life.“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”.What we hear impacts what we believe. That can be good, or really bad. We hear things all day long. Most people do not pay attention to what they hear, so they get a mixed bag of philosophies throughout the day. The Apostle taught us in Romans 10:17 that we must focus on God’s word. We must take out daily time to purposely hear God’s word and meditate on it every day. Only this will strengthen our faith. Many believers today have very weak and ineffectual faith because they refuse to discipline themselves to hear God’s word. They are too busy doing “other things,” and they do not prioritize the study of God’s word. If that is you today, repent and get back to your “first love.” Let your faith come alive as you give first place to God and His word. He is worthy!

Romans 10:17 “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”.
