God is looking for bold, courageous faith!

Almighty God is a rewarder. He acknowledges and responds to faith and obedience. Hebrews 11:6 says: “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” A reward is: “something that is given in return for good behavior or service; a recompense; an award.” God rewards those that diligently seek Him in many ways, not only in this lifetime, but also in eternity. Hebrews 10:35 says: “So don’t lose your bold, courageous faith, for you are destined for a great reward” Jesus taught in the parable of the talents that those who are faithful will be rewarded with greater authority, influence and joy: Matthew 25:23 ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.” Don’t ever let the enemy steal your faithfulness. It will be rewarded. Galations 6:9 says: “Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.” God is pleased with the faithful. Remember, you are destined for a great reward, so stand today with bold, courageous faith. He sees your faithfulness!

He is our Heavenly Father!

Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Today, God reminds you that He honors His promises. In our experience, we most likely remember someone that promised us something, yet they failed to honor their promise. I have also heard some call God, “the man upstairs.” He is not a “man” who is subject to failure and deceit. We need to honor God with the greatest respect that we can muster. He is not a “mere” man. He is Almighty God, worthy of all praise and glory! And finally, tomorrow is Father’s Day. We take time out to honor fathers in this nation, but remember that God is our Heavenly Father, and He loves us with an eternal love, so make sure you get out to church tomorrow and honor your “Heavenly Father.”

Happy Father’s Day!
