Taste this and your life will change!

Almost everyone I know likes to enjoy something sweet after dinner. It just seems that most people have a “sweet tooth.” King David once said of God’s word: “Your promises are sweet to me, sweeter than honey in my mouth!” Psalm 119:103 (NCV). God’s word was very desirable to David, even more desirable than honey! Honey is a powerful antioxidant and has even been used to heal different infirmities. However, the word of God is the greatest antioxidant, as it can clean and heal the soul. Also, as I looked up the word “sweet,” I was surprised in a good way to find out that not only is it a taste sensation that is induced by sugars. The word sweet also means: gratifying, fragrant, very good and appealing. God’s word is all of that and more. Psalm 34:8 says: “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.” Yes He is! So it is time to reject all of those who are continually criticizing the scriptures. They are simply deceived. We have personally tasted of the Lord and His sweet word. Like David, I say: “How sweet is your word, even sweeter than honey!
