This power is in your hands!

There will be times when God gives you the opportunity to help others. This is a wonderful time to sow into other’s lives. According to the law of sowing and reaping, what we sow is what we reap, so when you help others during their time of need, God will cause others to help you during your time of need. For those who understand the power of sowing and reaping, they look for opportunities to give and help. They know that if they are generous to others, God will cause generosity to come to them. Are you generous with others, or is there always an excuse to not help or give? Remember, what you sow IS what you’ll reap!

Proverbs 3:27Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
When it is in the power of your hand to do so”.

Are you generous?

God is more generous that we will ever know. He is our model of generosity. Stinginess and selfishness are not Godly qualities. God loves the cheerful giver.  Note that it says a “cheerful” giver. Give with joy, knowing that you are pleasing the heart of God. There are those that give to be seen by men. God will not honor this kind of giving.  When you bless someone else, make sure that you do it for the right reasons. God will make sure that the truly generous will prosper. It’s His promise. Proverbs 11:23 says: “There is one who scatters, yet increases more;”

Proverbs 11:25 – The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.
