Every time I read Jeremiah 1: 4 – 5, It never ceases to amaze me. Here is what it says: “Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you;I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” God reveals to us that He thought about us before He formed us in our mother’s womb. He carefully designed us with gifts and abilities. He carefully thought about when we would be born, and to what region we would be born in. This denotes purpose and value. He then goes on to say that He ordained Jeremiah for a specific and important task in his life. Praise God! He created us all with purpose. Like Jeremiah, He sets us apart to fulfill His purposes in our lifetime. So remember today, you are precious to God. He created you with love and intentionality. You were set apart for what He called you to do. He already ordained you to serve Him in your lifetime. You are precious and needed. Go be what God already called you to be!
