Ready for your promotion?

Psalms 75: 6,7 “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.” You can see today how so many people are looking to be acknowledged or appreciated. You see it in programs such as, “American Idol” and others like it. They are hoping and praying that the judges will pick them to be the next famous singer/entertainer. Well, God is the great judge, and if He recognizes you, no one will be able to stop it. Having said that, He will promote you for a divine purpose, not for you to waste it away on fleeting fantasies. He wants to position you to be a Kingdom representative in the place where you are planted. So be faithful to God where you are now. He will recognize you in due season, and when He promotes you, everyone will see it. When that happens, you will bring glory to God and great benefit to all those around you!

He doesn’t condemn you!

I’ve noticed that many people in our society today are offended at the Gospel message because they feel it condemns them. They think that the God of the Bible is angry at them and and hates them. However, we all know John 3:16 where it says: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Begotten Son, so that whoever would believe in Him would not perish, but have eternal life.” This verse of course shows the opposite of hate and condemnation. But most people don’t read the next verse which says: “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:17). Note: God did not send Jesus to condemn the world! Did you read that? He sent Him so that through Him the world would be saved. Oh, if only we would understand the love of God. He sees us destroying each other and it grieves His heart. Today, God is still reminding everyone that He loves them and Jesus’ arms are still open wide waiting for us to come to Him so that He could deliver us from the power of darkness, and translate us to His Kingdom. Selah!
