Part of that good news is found in 2 Peter 1:3, which says: “as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue”. Not only are we saved by His goodness, In Christ, He gives us all things that pertain to life and godliness. This means that our eternity is secure in Christ, but He also cares for our daily needs. He meets all of our needs according to His riches in glory. Christmas for us is not just a day; it is a powerful revelation of just how much God loves us. Let the rest of this holiday be one of gratitude for what God has already done for us.
Do you have the right perspective?
Possessing the right perspective is a powerful weapon of warfare. Everything we lose while we serve God, we really never lose it!!! When we apparently lose something in the Kingdom of God, it is a temporary situation because God will replace it with something better and more beneficial. Many times what we lose was actually unnecessary and even harmful to our future and destiny. Mark 10:28-30 says: “Peter said to him, “We have left everything to follow you!” “I tell you the truth,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields-and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life”. Notice: God will restore it in this life, and grants us eternal life in Christ. So instead of always thinking loss, remember that you are part of the Kingdom of God, and if you do lose something, it will be replaced with something far better, Hallelujah!
