Psalm 91: 15 “He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him”
Almighty God created us to be able to fellowship with Him and each other. God gave us the high privilege to be able to communicate with Him. When we pray to Him, He listens and responds. Jeremiah 33:3 says: “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Not only does He respond, He reveals plans, strategies, wisdom, understanding, insight, foresight, knowledge, clarity and many other things that we need in order to live a life that is pleasing in His sight. This allows us to prosper in that which He called us to do. In 2 Chronicles 7:14, it says: “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” When we sincerely and humbly go to Him in prayer, He will respond to our prayers by forgiving us and healing
whatever is out of order. Matthew 6:6 says: “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.” It doesn’t make a difference whether or not people see you pray. The key here is that God Himself sees and hears your prayers. Jesus also revealed that God will reward us openly so that others will see the grace of God upon your life. Phillipians 4: 6 & 7 says: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Let prayer and fellowship with God be a key priority in your life. He will hear your prayers, grant you the peace that passes understanding and reward you openly. Always remember: If you call upon Him, He will answer you!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You so much that You have given me the privilege of prayer and fellowship with You. You have made us to be a relational being, and You made me in your Image and Likeness. You gave us the authority to be able to cover our families, our cities and our nation in prayer and supplication. And in this way, I can do my part to ensure that your Kingdom comes and Your will is done on earth as it is in Heaven. Thank You that You hear my prayers, and what I pray to you in private, you respond openly. Thank You for this honor. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen!
