American culture maintains that we should see January 1st as a new beginning. This can be true, but it’s not the only time when you can:
> start all over again,
> forgive yourself and enter into a season of new beginnings,
> start a new venture, etc.
Yes, you can wait until January 1st, or you can simply begin today! Today is the perfect day to begin again, to forgive yourself, to embrace a new beginning, etc. They key is your mindset. Today is a powerful day! Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow is not yet here. Today is the only day that you can put action to your dreams. Today is the only day that you can decide to change. Isaiah 43:19 says: “Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert”. Most people pray that God would do a new thing in their lives. God says I am doing a new thing, NOW! Hebrews 11:1 (TPT) says: “Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen”. Notice that it says: “Now faith.” Faith is now. It’s not somewhere in the future. It’s not just for January 1st. It’s for today! Can’t you see it? He is doing a new thing in you NOW!
