It was written for your encouragement!

The Bible teaches us about God, the history of His people and the plan of redemption among other things. The Bible was  also written for our instruction. Romans 15:4 (Amp) says: “For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.” In other words, when we study God’s word, it will give us an overflowing hope and confidence in His promises. It encourages us during trials and tribulations. It encourages us when life’s circumstances attempt to discourage us. There is an answer for all of life’s challenges. In the midst of all the Memorial Day celebrations today, ask the Lord to give you insight and discernment as to what His word is saying, and watch how the Lord will open up your eyes to see what He is doing and your heart to understand what He is saying. In all of your celebrating, celebrate His goodness in the land of the living. This is the day that the Lord made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!. Happy Memorial Day!

Romans 15:4 (Amp) “For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.”

He is thinking about you!

We all think about things that are important to us. We normally do not bother thinking about boring, unimportant things. In the same way, God thinks about us. His thoughts toward us are of peace. He thinks about giving us a future and a hope.  He loves us more that we will ever realize. When we are open to  receive His love, He can then begin to reveal His precious plans for our lives. A doctor cannot help a sick person that refuses to go to his office to be helped. A lawyer cannot take the case of a person that refuses to retain his services. In the same way, God thoughts toward you are to bless you, but if you refuse to receive His bountiful grace, you will simply be closing the door to that blessed future. Make up your mind today that you are going to embrace His peace, and divine provision for a better future. He is waiting on you!

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
