Matthew 5:6 reveals the power and need to hunger after God and His righteousness. We need to be hungry for God’s Presence. For those who think that they do not need God in their lives, they are sadly deceived. Many think that just because they have “book smarts,” they don’t need anything else. Many times, too much earthly study actually will drive people to confusion, delusion and disillusion. There comes a time in everyone’s life when they realize how futile the vanity-filled life is. God’s wisdom is available to anyone, but you cannot casually run into it. You have to really want it. You have to hunger for it. It is only then that you will find God’s wisdom and revelation knowledge!
Proverbs 14:6 (TPT) –The intellectually arrogant seek for wisdom, but they never seem to discover what they claim they’re looking for. For revelation-knowledge flows to the one who hungers for understanding.
