This is God’s will!

King David was the busiest man in the kingdom, yet he would get up early every day to pray, worship and bless God. He would ask for daily wisdom. He would pray for his family. He would ask God to help him defeat his enemies. When he was sad, tired or despondent, he would ask God for new strength. Jesus taught us to pray every day. Prayer is a high privilege and an extremely important responsibility. Someone once said: “Nothing happens until someone prays!” Today, we are called to pray, not only for ourselves, but also for those in authority. This is God’s will for us, and it is pleasing to the Father when we intercede for our families and nation. Have you been interceding in prayer for your family and nation?

1 Timothy 2:1 – 4 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

What does your prayer life look like?

The Apostle Paul instructed us to pray always. there is never a time where prayer is not necessary. There are many kinds of prayers that need to be activated today. Supplication for example, is a prayer that is done is earnestly and humbly. Prayer includes sincere requests before God, for family, friends, church, the city, the nation and the world. In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God declared: if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. There are prayers that help to heal our land. We really need these kinds of prayers today on behalf of our land (nation). There are prayers for physical healing. in James 5:14-15 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Your prayers are powerful and needed today. Make sure that you spend time daily in prayer. Your family and this nation will appreciate it!

Ephesians 6:18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints
