Favor is coming to you!

Proverbs 8:35 (AMPC) “For whoever finds me [Wisdom] finds life and draws forth and obtains favor from the Lord.”

Favor is a powerful word. Here is its meaning in the original Hebrew:  “when someone is pleased or delighted with you.  It’s a solid reaction of a superior to an inferior.” God is superior to us, so when He shows us favor, He is showing his pleasure with us. He is delighted with us. Favor carries rewards with it. When earthly kings bestow favor upon someone, they are showing that they are pleased with that subject and reward them accordingly, whether with promotions, accolades or benefits. The Holy Scriptures teach that when we pursue Godly wisdom, we will will obtain favor from the Lord! This is His promise. I don’t have to beg for this. I just have to pursue wisdom. Wisdom brings with it life and favor. When you go before the King of kings, make sure you are carrying wisdom with you. The King will be pleased and delighted with you, and will show you favor (life, benefits, promotions, protection, affirmation, authority, joy and peace). And, He will bestow this to you in the presence of friends and foes alike! Something to think about today.

Did you know that you have a reward coming?

Are you aware that the work of your hands are important to God? He considers the work of your hands! 2 Chronicles 15:7 says: “But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!” Did you hear that? Your work has rewards! Colossians 3:23 says: “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” Wow! That is a powerful revelation. From now on, serve the Lord with joy and enthusiasm. Even if some people do not appreciate you or your work, God not only appreciates your service, He remembers it and has a reward for you. You are blessed and highly favored!
